Bausch and Strobel Filling Machine contract manufacturing
Moorfields Pharmaceuticals contract manufacturing automated vial filling utilises a Bausch and Strobel KSF 1020 filler, protected by a Class A environment with a Class B background. Vials can be aseptically filled on this equipment or terminally sterilised post-filling.The range of vials filled by this machine is currently being expanded to include 2R, 4R, 6R, 8R, 10R AND 15R vials.
Precision Sterile Hand Filling Pharmaceutical contract manufacturing
Moorfields Pharmaceuticals contract manufacturing semi-manual filling is performed under a Class A environment, with a Class B background. Baxa filling pumps are used to achieve the required filling accuracy whilst the filled vials are sealed with an automated crimping unit or cap applicator. Vials can be aseptically filled or terminally sterilised post-filling.

Blow-Fill-Seal capabilities are now established within the facility. This is seen as a significant growth area, particularly in the preservative free ophthalmic product sector. Small scale Blow-Fill Seal capabilities are available using a Rommelag 3012M machine. With a daily output of 20,000 units, this is ideal for early phase clinical studies.
Bottle Labelling Pharmaceutical contract manufacturing
