We are the pharmeceutical manufacturing unit of the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital although we function as a business entity, supplying over 3000 customers around the world.
How long have you been manufacturing sterile products?
We were established in the main hospital building in the 1960s. The facility has expanded and grown increasingly sophisticated. In 2005 we moved to a new sterile manufacturing facility nearby in central London.
What is your manufacturing expertise?
We supply over a hundred different formulations of sterile liquid products. Many are unique and not manufactured anywhere else. We are able to make individual products on a named patient basis (specials). Click here to view more details »
Do you offer Contract Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facilities?
Yes. We are able to manufacture a range of sterile products. As well as producing traditional eye drops and injection vials (the majority able to be made without preservatives), we have installed blow-fill-seal technology to manufacture unit dose preparations efficiently. We also manufacture pharmaceutical clinical trials material.
