Introduction of a 'Specials' Tariff from November 2011

THE Department of Health (DoH) has announced a Specials Tariff for the reimbursement of Specials (unlicensed medicines) that will be introduced from 1st November 2011. 

Pharmacists and Doctors looking to see which products have been listed can click here to find out more. For additional guidance, a Q&A sheet provided by the DoH has also been made available.

Full details of the Specials Tariff will be published in the November 2011 Drug Tariff.

At this point in time only one of our ophthalmic specials will be on the tariff.
